Origin: Guyana

Character: tight grained, smooth, hard, durable wood. The uniqueness of this wood is the usage of the light cream color of its sapwood along with the dark chocolate to varied purple color of the heartwood. The sapwood is as hard as the heartwood. Streaking in the heartwood of darker purple and black makes it very dramatic in
