Origin: Guyana

Character: A very rare, fine textured, medium grained wood from the jungles of Western Guyana. The logs are cut and transported by the Amerasian Indians. A beautiful Spiritwood the colors range from creamy tan to light amber to dark amber. Wavy ribbons of reddish brown to chocolate brown run through the grain with dark brown interlaced through the patterns.

Working Properties: Finishes to a hard, smooth, marble like surface

Uses: Fine furniture, turnings, cabinetmaking, boxes, matched panels, specialty items, collectors

Dimension: Flitch cut 4/4 to 8/4 4" to 6" wide 3' to 4' lengths.
