Origin: Brazil / Guianas

Character: A beautiful very hard tropical timber with sapwood of Ivory to tan Ivory. The heart has wavy ribbons of reddish purple to violet brown with darker stripes of purple woven throughout.

Working Properties:

Uses: Turnery, furniture, cabinet work, specialty items, decorative veneers, turning and carving.

Dimensions: 4" to 5" wide slab.
