Latin Name: Eucalyptus marginata
Origin: Southwestern Australia
Character: Dense, curled grain wood with a wavy, curly, highly figured pattern, turning to a rich reddish mahogany hue.
Working Properties: Finishes to a smooth, hard, lustrous surface. Glues, turns well.
Uses: Table tops, fine furniture, turnery, specialty items, carvings and sculptures.
Dimensions: Crosscut Burl slabs 3" to 5: thick, 3' 4' 5' diameter rounds.
