Latin Name: Brosimum paraense

Origin: Guianas

Character: Sap is yellowish white and heart is variegated red to reddish brown. My have a golden beige ribbon figure sometimes.

KD/AD: AD 20 years

Working Properties: Finishes to a smooth, hard, lustrous surface. Glues, turns well. planing is difficult, polishes well.

Uses: Furniture, cabinet work, paneling, specialty items.
