"The Eye of The Soul" (also referred to as "The Eye of the MIND", created by:
Master of Cosmic Energy: Stewart Stars Saxton MCE

A treatise on White Fire

24", height and width, by .75" thickness, two sided, oil and acrylic on wood, circled by 24 gold and silver stars (one for each hour).

The first step was the evolution of "The Spiral of Life" was two one-dimensional posters that inspired this work, "The Eye of the Soul", (in two dimensions and lead to the work, "The Spiral of Life" in three dimensions.) These works are the prelude to the philosophical creation of the forth dimension as realized in Advaita Vedenta. This teaching of the Upanishads, is Hinduism's most influential philosophy. Non-dualism is the position of the observer, who, residing in the forth dimension, watches over all things. See the explanation of "The Spiral of Life" for further information.

This two-sided oil and acrylic painting represents the conscious and subconscious nature of man. They represent the soul through Numerology, Symbolism, Hindu Color Balance, and Hindu Astrology. Also represented are forces such as: The Unifying Principal of Yin and Yang, Energy Exchange, Self Knowledge, Mystic Arts, The Art of Balance, and White Magic. This work shows the interconnection of the basic number/symbol combinations that lay a foundation for the mind/body experiences that we have. These are the building blocks of esoteric understanding.

In 1967 Stewart completed the first step, several one-dimensional images that list and picture the information needed for completion of the next step, the charts. The Eye of the Mind is a two-dimensional work that is the second step toward the completion of "The Spiral of Life". The information from step one was put into symbol form (where symbols infer numbers) as a two-sided oil and acrylic painting. The painting was completed with a 00 brush. If you look closely you will see the very fine brush strokes. The work was done freehand, and took two years to complete. Thus, step two was completed. This work contains the material for the next step, the three-dimensional sculpture and pyramid: "The Spiral of Life" and the chrome steel, "Healing Pyramid".

The symbols and colors of the "Eye of the Soul" are as follows.

There is One work.
(It is a two-sided painting, on one piece of carved wood). There is one world that we live in. There is each one of us. We all are one. There is one universe and one omniverse. (The omniverse is made up of multiple universes) is one. Remember we are one, we (you and me), can change the world. Each and every one of us can really make a difference. One is non-duality, as seen in Advaita Vedanta. There is only one source, be in the here and now as an you are source. Presence is now, all is one. We are all connected as one unity.

On the Two sides, there is painted one symbolic black cross, a symbol of the mystic crucifixion, on the black cross is (painted on each side) a Gold and Silver Star. The Gold half is the Yang, Heaven, Father side, and the Silver side is the Yin, Earth, Mother side. There are two sides to the nature of life, as is seen in the balance of the opposites, Yin and Yang, night and day, up and down, in and out and positive and negative. There is the aware and the unaware. There is the conscious and the sub conscious, Two is duality.

There are Three flames between each point of the star, standing for the trinity. Spirit, mind, and body, stands for the triangle, the geometric image of the ternary, (The father, mother and child). The total number of flames are three times five sections, equaling fifteen, the number of rules for White Magic.

There are Four points on the cross, the four directions, the four seasons. The basic building blocks of life (the cube is the three-dimensional four) are the four corners of the square and are the symbol of the earth.

There are Five points to the Gold and Silver Star, the 5 pointed Star that is life in its universal radiance. This is symbolic of man with five fingers, five toes, five main upper and lower organs, five senses and five extremities. Five is the center of the nine whole numbers. Gold and Silver are the duality of the higher nature, gold being the sun and silver the moon. This duality is reflected in the (sun), the light of humanity, and the (moon), as the dark side of humanity.

The Six sided Gold and Silver stars represent the interlaced triangles of personality and individuality. The union of two triangles, as the human soul.

There is a Seven-pointed star to the right of the cross, on the subconscious side.  This includes the seven directions of space, six existential dimensions plus the center. Seven represents return, that which is put in is given back. Every seventh wave in the ocean is a larger wave.

There are two Eight-pointed stars on the conscious side, opposite the seven and nine-pointed stars. Seven and Nine are sixteen, eight and eight are sixteen, creating a balance. The movement of heaven is evident in its shape, the eternal spiral. Eight represents awareness of God in a higher sense. The center is red and blue, representing (blue) ultraviolet and (red) infrared, the opposite ends of the light spectrum.

There is a Nine-pointed star to the left of the cross on the subconscious side. It is the essence of the triple triangle. The symbol of truth. This could be the ninth month, in the creation of life, the dark before the light. Inside the seven and nine-pointed stars, on the subconscious side, is a blue cross on a red background. They represent the infrared and ultraviolet rays from space. They are opposite (yet part of) the blue of heaven, the center of the eight-pointed stars, on the conscious side. Nine and seven are sixteen, and eight and eight are sixteen, each side
is a balance of the other.

There are Ten Tetractys that represent  the fourfold mystical expressio. We are all one. The duality is seen as two, as in the polarity of opposites. The Trinity is the sacred three, as in spirit, mind and body. The four is the basis of life, as in the four seasons and the four directions. Together they add up to the triangle of the Tetractys, 10. The basis of unity as a coming together of all things spiritual and elemental is represented in the total 13 Tetractys on "The Spiral of Life"  The additional three represent the essence of the soul that makes the world come alive through (1) change, (2) Breath, and (3) awareness. Thirteen as a total is a reflection of the unknown in this life and the shift thereafter.

We find Eleven is represented in the combination of spirit (1), and being aware (1). The understanding that a time of putting all things in order for the completion of the whole is paramount. Eleven is the first step in this new paradigm  of life we are embarked on. .

There are Twelve Planets painted on the outer edge of the sub-conscious side, they are colored with the corresponding color from Hindu Astrology and on the opposite side are the twelve corresponding houses of the zodiac with color from Hindu Astrology also. Twelve is the completion of the four seasons, the completion of the year, the completion of the quaternary. (fire, earth, wind and water times four) There are three aspects of each element times four. Twelve is the completion of one complete cycle of existence as we know it. There are 11 known planets and the 12th represents the undiscovered.

As we look at the conscious side, in the center is the right eye. It is surrounded by the flaming triple heart, a signification of love, light, and happiness that burns always in the heart center. At the center of the heart is the diamond light of pure love. The twelve houses of the Zodiac are in colors taken from Hindu astrology. On the other side, opposite each house of the Zodiac, is its corresponding planet, in shown in the colors from Hindu astrology.

Around the outer edge there are twenty-four Star wands that denote the outer points of the Black Cross, the Gold/Silver Star, and the Fifteen Flames of White Magic. Twelve are Gold and twelve are Silver. The Black Cross (four), the five-pointed Gold/Silver Star (five), and the fifteen flames of White Magic (fifteen) add up to twenty-four. There is one Star for each hour of the day, 24. Gold is for AM, and Silver is for PM.

On the subconscious side, in the center, is the left eye. The dual polarity of inner space surrounds it. The sun and pyramid are in the cycle of concrete nourishment. The third eye (the yin/yang sign) and the double crosses are in the cycle of mystical nourishment. The sun represents the nourishment of all things, (the light and heat necessary to support all life on earth). Its twelve rays are that of the Zodiac. The sun shines on the pyramid that represents concrete knowledge, nourishment, and application of the gifts received from heaven. The third eye represents the reception of cosmic energy and attachment to the ethereal world. The double cross of the unconscious mind receives this energy, where it is transmuted and dispersed. There are nineteen visible stars that represent the invisible world.

The sculpture, as a whole, represents the world turning on its axis. The work is the presence of all things and exists always in the now. It is the creation of source. It is the whole of human existence, the light and the dark, the yin and the yang, love and hate. It is the essence of all things. It is man in his infinite wisdom. It is the truth of human life.

The work is a depiction of the Human Soul as represented in symbols and colors.

We all are one.
